Sending notes to parents

 This feature allows your team to send quick notes to parents, whether it's a reminder to pick up a misplaced hat or a notice about an upcoming activity, SmartCentral keeps you connected.


1. Click People from the top and select Parents from the dropdown 

2. Parents page appears. Search for the desired parent to send the message to. Filter options can also be used in searching for the desired parent. 

 

3. On the search results, click the Id number of the desired parent

4. The parent details page appears. The Access all notes link shows all parents’ sent/received history of notes.  Then click Add Note to send a new note. 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Add Note window appears. Entre the message on the message box. 

  1. Send an email to the parent - click the tickbox to send via email
  2. Send a notification to the sign in the kiosk and the parent app - click to notify and show messages in the parent app. 
6. Click the Send a notification to the sign in kiosk and the parent app tickbox

7. Then click Save to save all entries. The parent details page reappears. The message has been successfully sent.
