MFA: Setting Up

An additional security function to Smart Central. It can be activated on the account profile for additional security in verifying the account.

Follow the steps below on how to set up the MFA:

1. Login to Smart Central

2. On the top menu bar, click Account. dropdown menu appears

3. On the dropdown, click My Profile. Profile tab appears.

4.On the Multi-factor Authentication section, click Setup MFA. The login page appears. Follow the instructions on the page.

Note: The authenticator external software can be downloaded using the assigned app store of your device ie: Android(Play Store) or IOS ( Apple Store).

5. On the Login page, enter a password.

6. Use the installed authenticator app to Enter the code assigned to your Smart Central account.

7. Then, click Setup TOTP Authentication. Depending on the Authenticator App, the code quickly and automatically changes. It is best to enter the code as soon as possible before it changes
