Direct Debit Setup

SmartCentral has partnered with Childcare EasyPay to allow you to quickly and easily take payments from parents and automatically update the parent’s account. Direct Debit saves a lot of administrative work and reduces the likelihood of bad debt building up.

To be able to use this function you will need to register for Direct Debit.

  1. Contact support for the Activation Form.
  2. Support sets up the details from the Childcare EasyPay (CEP) when details have been provided. 

Note: when a parent is having an issue logging into CEP, (access denied) they will need to contact CEP directly to get this sorted.

Setting up the Direct Debit

Follow the instructions below on how to setup the Direct Debit:

  1. Login to SC. Go to Account and click Setup org from the dropdown menu

2. Edit organisation page appears. Then, click Direct debit 

A payment gateway page appears. The payment gateway section is configured to connect from Smart Central to childcare Easy Pay. Support will perform the setup once registered for direct debit and details from CEP are provided.

Direct debit registration email - the email configuration sent to parents for Direct debit email registration. Similar to other email templates, they can also be customised. It is recommended to include a deadline date for the parent's.

Preview - a preview of how the email appears when sent to the parents.
