How to Request Documents from Parents in Application Process.

By default, the SmartCentral application form includes mandatory document requests such as birth certificates and immunisation records. However, there may be instances where you require additional documents from parents that are not part of the standard application. We enable you add supplementary document requests into your application form and you can choose to mark these documents as either mandatory or optional.

Follow the steps below on how to request families provide specific documents :

Click Account from the top menu bar and click Setup org from the dropdown menu.

By default, Edit organisation page appears. Click the Documents tab.

Required documents for application tab appears. Click Add.

Add new required document tab appears. Add the name of the document to be added.

Add the description of the document and any instructions for parents.

Click the Mandatory tick box if the document is a requirement of the application, leave unticked if the documentation is optional.
Enter the Display order number of the required document.
Note: If unticked, the family can choose to add or not add the document.
Service documentation can also be added here for the family to read through (i.e: Family Handbook); any documentation added from the service must be left unticked.

Window appears, select the file from the local device and double click on the desired file, or click Open.

The selected file appears on the page. Click Submit.

The uploaded file appears on the top of the order and a notification appears at the bottom of the page.
