Fee Projection Discrepancies

While our fee projection feature is designed to be highly accurate, we acknowledge that discrepancies between projected and actual fees can occur. This troubleshooting guide aims to help you understand possible reasons for such differences and how to address them.

Minor Discrepancies

Projections are generally very accurate, but exact matches cannot be guaranteed due to variations in rounding numbers between systems. As a result, the projected fee may differ slightly from the actual fee by a few cents and, in rare cases, a few dollars.

Common Discrepancies and Troubleshooting

If you notice a significant discrepancy between the projected and actual fees, consider the following:

1. CCS Rate Discrepancy

  • Issue: The child is listed under an incorrect CCS rate category (e.g., school-aged instead of non-school-aged).
  • Solution: Verify the CCS rate in MyGov. Parents may need to update their information on MyGov and contact Centrelink for further assistance. If the child is correctly receiving the school-aged rate, contact support to change the settings for the child to have the school-aged rate on their projection.

2. Added Sessions After Projection

  • Issue: An extra session was booked after the initial fee projection was created.
  • Solution: The additional session would not have been included in the original projection. Please update your projection by going to your account and refreshing the projection batch to include the new session.
