Follow this link to the calculator: https://ccscalculator.v.smartcentral.net/
Our calculator is designed to help users estimate the amount of subsidy they might receive for child care expenses.

The calculator requires the following inputs:

  • CCS Percentage: The percentage of child care costs that will be subsidized by the government.
  • Allocated Hours per Fortnight: The number of hours of child care allocated for a two-week period.
  • Sessions per Fortnight: The number of child care sessions in a fortnight.
  • Cost per Session: The financial cost of each child care session.
  • Session Duration: The length of each child care session.
  • Select Age/Care Type: Choosing the age of the child or the type of care they require.
  • Withholding Amount (5%): The percentage of the subsidy that is withheld, 5% is the default amount.

After these details are entered, the following is calculated:

Gross Fee per Fortnight: The total cost of child care for 2 weeks before any subsidy is applied.

Estimated Subsidy: The estimated amount of government subsidy.

Estimated Gap Amount: The difference between the gross fee and the estimated subsidy, which is the amount the user would need to pay out of pocket.
